We ENVISION a world where:

  • Physicians and their staff are knowledgeable and sensitive when diagnosing MRKH and treating women and teenagers with MRKH.

  • MRKH is widely recognized and openly discussed within the medical field and within the general population.

  • Women worldwide will have a safe online community where they can meet others and share their triumphs and heartaches.

  • Reproductive opportunities are legal, safe and affordable.

Although we started as strangers, we have become so much more than friends, and we hope that each of you will find a special place in our MRKH family. We are glad you found us!

Welcome to the Beautiful You MRKH Foundation, your supportive online home where you can be yourself! We promote self-esteem, and empower girls and women with MRKH to embrace their beauty, just as they are. We welcome members from around the world, and believe that through our differences, we will find our greatest strengths. We look forward to hearing your unique story and sharing our community with you and your families.

We started the Beautiful You MRKH Foundation because we survived the devastating diagnosis of MRKH; fought hard battles with ourselves and others as we accepted our diagnoses; and emerged as strong, determined, resilient and deeply caring women who understand and accept you just as you are–beautifully, perfectly, exquisitely you.

MISSION STATEMENT of the Beautiful You MRKH Foundation:

The Beautiful You MRKH Foundation strives to create a supportive community that partners with health care professionals to increase awareness and empower women of all ages with MRKH to feel beautiful, just as they are.

Beautiful You MRKH Foundation Diversity, Non-discrimination, and Anti-harassment Policy:

The Beautiful You MRKH Foundation was founded on the core value of inclusivity. We commit to the principles and guidelines of equal employment opportunity and prohibit discrimination and harassment of any kind for board members, employees, contractors, volunteers, and people served by BYMRKH. We expect all of these individuals to adhere to non-discriminatory employment practices regardless of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation, and gender identity), family or parental status, national origin, age, disability, and genetic information. The Beautiful You MRKH Foundation will not tolerate discrimination, intimidation, bullying, humiliation, or harassment based on any of these principles. We believe our greatest strength lies in our differences, and commit to ensuring BYMRKH creates an environment where differences are embraced.

GOALS of the Beautiful You MRKH Foundation:

  • Support Teens, Women and Families! We administer the MRKH Support and Awareness Facebook site, manage the sister-to-sister mentoring program and provide various types of support for all who are affected by MRKH.

  • Advocate for MRKH! We will spread the word about MRKH throughout the medical community, open dialogues about MRKH with the media and work hard to eliminate the shame and isolation that often accompanies a diagnosis of MRKH.

  • Become the place to go for medically accurate information about MRKH. As we develop our website, we will add scientifically accurate content (vetted through our Scientific Advisory Board) and links to medically accurate websites and publically available literature.

  • Partner with physicians to improve the experience of all females with MRKH and provide funding to help defray the cost of medical treatment and counseling.

  • Fund research into the causes of MRKH, as well as the short-term and long-term emotional impact of MRKH on women and teens.

Welcome to BYMRKH!
